PROJECT DETAILS

Planning a Brisbane concrete project

Your project information can help shape the next conversation about finish, access and timeline.

Privacy, In Plain Language is our commitment to explaining simply how your project details are handled, so you can decide what to include with confidence.

At present, this form creates a file on your device. No details are transmitted through the website. Only include information you are comfortable sharing, such as your suburb, the approximate floor area and the finish you have in mind.

YOUR PROJECT INFORMATION / 01

The current project brief feature

This page describes how the project brief feature is implemented on this website. Completing the form and pressing its download button generates a text file in your browser. The form handler does not send the entered fields to an enquiry service or submit them to a business inbox.

The success message confirms a download, not receipt of a message. If you want to prepare a brief without sending it, this distinction explains what the current feature does and what it leaves for a later step.

The website has not published a complete business contact and data handling policy for a future connected enquiry service. This explanation should not be read as a promise about a service that has not been connected.

If the form is changed to send information, the description here and the information beside the form should be reviewed to reflect that behaviour. For now, treat the downloaded file as a document you control on your own device.

YOUR PROJECT INFORMATION / 02

Information placed in the downloaded file

The form asks for a first name, last name, phone number, email address, project suburb or address, service choice, approximate area, timeline and project description. These values are assembled into labelled text in the downloaded brief. Required fields help make the document complete enough for a future project conversation.

They do not establish that a contractor has accepted the project or reviewed the property. Check the contents of the downloaded file rather than assuming a selection or typed detail was recorded as intended.

Use the description field for relevant project information. The condition of a floor, approximate dimensions, access limitations and a preferred finish are usually more useful than personal background. Avoid placing passwords, payment details, security codes or unrelated confidential material in the brief.

If you only need to record a broad location at this stage, the field accepts a project suburb. A later conversation can establish whether a more detailed address is required and how it should be provided.

YOUR PROJECT INFORMATION / 03

How the browser creates the brief

When the completed form is submitted, the page checks its required fields and creates a plain text document from the entered values. A temporary browser object URL is used to start the download. The page then releases that temporary URL after a short delay. This is a local file creation step in the form code.

It is separate from opening the website itself, loading page resources or using any other features provided by your browser and device.

Releasing the temporary URL does not erase the downloaded document. Once the browser saves the file, its location and continued storage depend on your device and browser settings. The website cannot manage copies you move, rename, email or place in another folder.

Browser extensions, synchronisation settings and device management software may have their own behaviour, which this page does not control. Review those settings directly if they affect how you want to handle a project document.

YOUR PROJECT INFORMATION / 04

Downloads on a shared or managed device

Before downloading personal contact details, consider who uses the device and where downloads are normally saved. A shared computer may place files in a folder accessible to other users. A work computer may follow an organisation’s storage or backup arrangements. The website does not decide those arrangements.

If you do not want to keep a brief on that device, use a device and storage location appropriate to your needs rather than assuming the file will disappear when the page closes.

Opening a downloaded brief is a useful check before you share it. Confirm that the contact details, address and project description are the version you intended. If you create several versions, clearly identify the current one and manage the older copies through your device.

Removing a local file is a device action; this website does not provide a remote deletion function. Copies held in backups, synchronised folders or another person’s inbox are governed by those separate systems.

YOUR PROJECT INFORMATION / 05

Changing or correcting your information

You can edit the form fields before downloading. If you notice an error after a file has been created, correct the fields and generate a new brief, or edit your local text document using an appropriate editor. The existing file is not updated automatically when a field on the page changes.

Check which version you are viewing, particularly if your browser gives repeated downloads similar names. The form does not create a customer account where previous briefs are listed or maintained.

The current download feature does not provide a business-held enquiry record for you to amend through this page. If you separately send a file to someone, corrections to that shared copy need to be discussed through the channel you used. Explain which details have changed and identify the relevant version.

Do not assume that editing a local file changes an attachment already sent elsewhere. Preparing, downloading and sharing are separate actions with separate copies of the information.

YOUR PROJECT INFORMATION / 06

Photographs, drawings and information about other people

The current form has no file upload field. Photographs, plans and supporting documents can be kept with your brief on your device, but they are not attached to it automatically. A reference to a photograph in the description is simply text. Before sharing images through another channel, inspect their contents.

A room photograph can include private correspondence, family photographs, a computer screen or identifying details that have nothing to do with the concrete work.

For shared properties and commercial projects, keep the brief focused on the information you are able to provide for the project. Describe relevant access arrangements without including security credentials. If another person is the appropriate contact, establish how their details should be shared rather than adding unnecessary information about them.

Drawings can also contain details beyond the work area. Consider whether a relevant extract or a simpler sketch would communicate the project without exposing unrelated material.

YOUR PROJECT INFORMATION / 07

Page resources and visiting the website

The statement that the form does not send an enquiry describes the form handler. It does not mean that visiting a web page involves no network requests. The shared page layout references Google Fonts to load the site’s typefaces, and a hosted website must serve its pages and images to the browser.

Those activities are different from submitting your project description. This page does not make a claim that every external provider, hosting environment or browser keeps no technical records.

The handling of resource requests depends on the provider and the environment in which the website is served. The current project brief code does not establish a retention schedule or data location for those separate services.

If you need information about a provider’s practices, consult that provider’s published information and the settings available in your browser. The website should publish appropriate business and hosting information before a connected enquiry workflow is introduced, rather than infer those details from the local download feature.

YOUR PROJECT INFORMATION / 08

Sharing the brief is a separate decision

A file downloaded here remains yours to review before deciding whether to share it. If you attach it to an email, upload it to another service or send it through a messaging application, that action is outside this form’s download process. Check the intended recipient and choose a channel suitable for the information.

The privacy and storage arrangements of that channel apply separately. This website cannot recall an attachment or remove a copy from a recipient’s device.

Keep the distinction between inspiration, preparation and an actual enquiry clear. Reading a location guide does not book a visit, choosing a service does not confirm suitability and downloading a brief does not send a request. If the website later offers a connected contact method, review the information presented at that time before submitting details.

Until then, use the form as a way to organise a project document, and manage its storage and sharing according to your own needs.
